FXpeek reference
Historical Exchange Rates
Historical exchange-rate reference data in JSON and CSV for supported currency pairs, dates, source notes, and reproducible reporting workflows.
What this page covers
FXpeek provides historical reference-rate examples for supported currency pairs. Use the date, pair, returned rate, source and asOf context together when preparing a report or reconciliation file.
JSON and CSV workflows
Use /api/history for daily JSON rows and /api/csv for spreadsheet-ready CSV. Choose a supported pair and date range, then retain the request URL with the returned data.
Method and update boundary
Reference data depends on the configured source and its publication cadence. It is not a live transaction quote, bank settlement rate, tax authority rate, accounting policy or trading signal.
Useful checks
For an invoice or close file, keep the invoice date, payment date, provider statement, applied rate, fee or spread, bank credit and the FXpeek source URL as separate evidence fields.
Frequently asked questions
Can FXpeek historical rates be used as transaction quotes?
No. FXpeek provides historical reference data for lookup, research, reporting and examples, not transaction or settlement quotes.
Which endpoint returns historical JSON?
Use /api/history with a supported from and to currency code and a days parameter.
