Every primary action now uses the Deep FX Green brand colour instead of near-black. The paid proof certificate sits as a quiet outline action beneath the free lookup, and the API playground shows the selected tab as a light state chip while the URL example sits on a dark code surface.
Introduced a deep forest-green hero field, a clearer display headline, tonal rate tiles, and a consistent green primary action while keeping the rest of the site light-first.
Added a data-flow diagram showing how an ECB reference rate becomes a citable record, and a sequence diagram of one /api/history call with its 200 and error branches. Both are inline SVG with a text description for screen readers.
Rebuilt the visual layer: a single type scale, hairline ledger grids instead of card shadows, a live rate board with 30-day sparklines, a 12-month chart, and full-bleed section bands.
Fixed grey slabs where empty grid cells rendered as solid blocks, sized the segmented control to its labels, replaced the 528px Swap button with a 40px glyph between the two currency selects, and rebuilt the dark result panel so the source and date sit on a ruled footer next to the copy action.
Moved the converter into the first viewport, added complete conversion sentences and source dates, launched the $9 CSV test pack, and removed generic checkout wording.
